He's happy for me, but I think way deep down inside he's mad. He just won't admit it. They already said I'm icing my back because I was swinging too hard.

arms extension full hurts move side tilt
I can get full extension in my arms and move it from side to side. It only hurts when I tilt it back and look up. I'll have to see how it feel tomorrow.
fifth gets great guy nobody
Nobody gets skipped here. Our fifth guy in Oakland had it tough. He didn't know when he was pitching. He didn't know how to go about things. It's great how we've had it going this year.

I don't see that the strike zone as different. I don't see that there's any stigma of American or National League as a player. The only real difference I see is that, in the American League, seven guys in the lineup will swing for homers. In the National, it's only about four. The rest of them will hit the other way or do whatever.

He's unbelievably talented. I saw him for five years in the American League. He's got as good a stuff as anybody.
atmosphere baseball city great louis loved moving people team year
A lot of people thought I didn't like St. Louis. I loved it. Don't get me wrong. I loved Oakland. But the year I had in St. Louis - with the fans, the city and the baseball atmosphere - was so much fun. What could be better than that? It's a great team moving into a new stadium. I can't say enough about the situation.
last obviously pitching says seems sudden together
To me, it seems like the same lineup as last year. But they're obviously pitching a lot better. When you put together some pitching and all of a sudden get a little more confidence, I think it says a lot for a team.
team player decision
If the player has the confidence and ability, then he should sign with the pro team. Academics certainly play a large part in the decision, but if someone feels they are ready to sign, they should.

When you have an inconsistent season, you learn a lot about yourself and your pitching.
team winning games
If you keep your team in the game and give them a chance to win each and every start, what could be better than that? That, to me, is my main goal.

When I was younger, things came so easily to me. It was just natural.
beat best good handle pitches quick throwing
When I'm throwing a good sinker, I get a lot of quick outs. If I get beat, I want to get beat on my best pitches and that's what happened. I can handle that.
