I was a little worried about this game after the first inning. After we tied it up and took the lead, I felt Nick was in control and we were in a good spot.

This is the deepest pitching staff that we've had so far. And since we have three section games a week and our section is so strong, that could help tremendously.

Jeff pitched an excellent game, but we had costly errors. California put the ball in play, and they made a couple of plays.

I think this is the most talented team I've had since I've been here. I'm definitely excited.

decent experience guys playoff section three win
With the experience that we have, we should have a decent year. A lot of these guys have three years of varsity experience. They know what I expect, and we want to win the section and win a playoff game.
bases bats effort great kids needed plays ran swung win
This was one our better performances. We swung the bats well, ran the bases well and made the plays defensively. It was a great effort by the kids today, we really needed this win today.
