bad goal hear pass second took tried year
I feel bad. It's the second goal this year I took away from him. I tried to pass it to him, that's for sure. I feel bad for him. I feel bad for myself. They booed me. I don't want to hear the booing.
afraid front guy looks open small spot
He's a small guy and he always looks for the open spot at the front of the net. He's getting all the rebounds, so he is not afraid at all.
controlled played
After that (goal), I think we controlled the game. For the first 50 minutes, I thought we played pretty well.
czech hats people republic
They're doing the same thing in the Czech Republic now. It's not as many hats as here because people don't have as much money.
bench funny great guy helping leader locker next playing sit team
He's awesome. He's a big part of the team and when he's playing, he's playing well. He's a leader and a great guy in the locker room, helping the other guys. He's funny on the bench during games. I like to sit next to him.
hope
I hope that it's going to be a wake-up call.
controlled
After that (goal), I think we controlled the game.
couple days easier everybody games lake maybe next playing salt three tough
It's tough playing all those games in the NHL and then here. It was easier in Nagano and Salt Lake (only three preliminary-round games). Maybe that's something everybody should think about for next time, give us a couple of more days off.
neutral stay tried zone
I just tried to stay in the neutral zone today.
battle power
That's what we said before the game, especially on the power play - we were going to battle for all the pucks and get all the rebounds. That was the difference. That's always the difference.
confidence game lost row six washington win
I think the Washington game was the game. We had lost six in a row and we just wanted to get our confidence back, to know we can win again.
break close huge neutral nice stay time tried zone
I just tried to stay in the neutral zone today. I didn't want to go close to the net. It's special, every time you break some kind of record, it's always nice to be part of it. It's a huge accomplishment for him.
kept playoff plugging score talking
It was tough, especially the 5-on-3. You've got to score in playoff games. We kept talking about plugging away.
tired
We were tired today. I don't know what happened. We just didn't have the legs.
