I think we knew with even 25 games to go that it would be dog race to the end. Obviously we have two big games in Montreal, but we have to try and keep winning until the end.
I've probably played better games this season and come out with no points. Don't get me wrong, I played a good game, but the puck followed me wherever I went. I wish I could say that I said before the game that I would score four goals, but that kind of stuff just doesn't happen.
It was good for us to skate and be on the big ice surface. Some of our guys just got their equipment before the game started and sticks and all that, (so) it's a learning experience.
I thought he had a good game. I don't think he beat us all by himself. He made some stops but, overall, I think we lost this game more than they won it.
Some nights the game is easy and many nights you wonder what's going on.
It would be nice for the last game of the season at least to have our full lineup.
It's tough, things aren't going our way. In important parts of the game we're giving up goals. We're not getting them where we should be. You can tell the whole group is tentative. We're making small mistakes out there. When things aren't going your way, every time we make a mistake we're paying the price.
There's so many games left, our only concern is our own play. We know we can play better than we did in January (3-9-2) and we can beat the teams we need to beat to make it in (the playoffs).
It was a tough way to start a game. We put ourselves in a hole and it was tough to get out.
Getting the puck out of our own end is a victory right now.
It's been a long wait for Swedish hockey.
That's exactly what you try to do on the power play - put the puck on the net.
I hope (Canadians) cheer for us. We'll take any support we can get. We're going to need it.
I think we made some progress tonight. If we can keep playing like we did tonight we can turn this thing around.
