capable finals healthy injuries key playing reached rough season shows tournament

chip couple cut defensive early handled missed pressure shots stops
Early in the game, I thought we missed some chip shots and had some defensive lapses. I thought we handled their pressure pretty well. There were a couple of times we cut it to 10, but we just couldn't get the stops when we needed.
ball came control forced gates shooting shots switched tempo
We came out of the gates shooting the ball well. We were able to control the tempo of the game. When they switched to a zone, we made our shots and forced them out of it. I think that boosted our confidence.
conference finished foul half needed rattled second took trouble
We had them in foul trouble in the first half and were able to do what we needed to. They finished first in the conference and we were right there with them in the first half. We got rattled in the second half and Maynard took over.
again ball basketball care forcing goes late lead offense run rushed score shots smart turning win
We rushed shots when we didn't need to. We had a five-point lead late and probably didn't need to score again to win. We end up turning the ball over and forcing our offense and Maynard goes on a run to win the game. We have to take care of the basketball and play smart in that situation.
