Mike Dailey is an American football coach and currently the head football coach of McDaniel College. Dailey was an Arena Football League coach for the Albany Firebirds and the Colorado Crush. During his time in the Arena Football League Dailey won 2 Arena Bowl Championships as well as the AFL Coach of the Year in 1999. His natural side of the ball in college was the defensive line. This is his third season in the arena league, and he has certainly developed a lot as an offensive player. He's worked at it very hard. He's taken a lot of pride in it.

We utilized his leg strength to kick it over the net because he had that ability, and that assured our defense would be in a situation where the offense would have to go 45 yards to score. Clay is more than capable of backing off a little and putting it into the net. We are working with him now on some things on where we want him to kick it. They want returns as part of the game for the excitement.
