As repetitive as it can be, it's different every year.
Obviously, more supply is going to hurt, because the occupancies are still not to 1999-2000 levels.
It is our duty to provide storm coverage. It's part of our license - to serve the public. That's one of the differences between over-the-air and cable stations.
It was just too many errors. I told the kids at halftime that we made three mistakes, and that's what put us in a hole. Maine-Endwell is a well-coached, disciplined team. We knew this would be a test. We've just got to keep getting better.
If our viewers were worried about one specific thing, ... it was where 'Jeopardy!' and 'Wheel of Fortune' were going to be.
We got to the foul line quite a few times. Didn't make as many we would have liked, though. But it was the fools' gold that beat us. We were 1-for-17 on 3-point attempts. You can't shoot like that against a good team like East.
There is definitely a need for some commercialism on our part ... but we do it in a most selective manner.
