Offensively, he is pretty gifted. He has good get-up and once he picks up the puck, he creates a lot of space and his release on his shot is college-level. We have put him onto the second line and that has given us two real good scoring units.

Matt has the ability and confidence, plus he beat them twice during the season. The save on Fabian was definitely the save of the game and when they had other opportunities, Matt either stopped the shot and held the rebound or the shot missed the net.

We stressed in the locker room that we wanted to really bring the hammer down and that goal really drove the nail into Waterville and we kept the puck deep in their zone from there and didn't allow too many good shots on goal.
