It's always tough (to lose at this stage). But these girls have done more than anyone expected them to. It's been a terrific season.

We can't overlook anyone. Redmond is 2-6 in league, but they've played a lot of close games, including being up 14 on us in the first quarter. We've won three league games by three or fewer points. We know anyone can beat anyone in the conference.

I was with Roy Thomas on a panel and he turned to me and said, "You know, your name is on the cover a magazine every month." I said, "Really?" He pulled out a copy of "Destroyer," and said, "If you cover up the DEST you've got Royer on the cover every month."

We did not shoot the ball well at all. But our defense stepped up and limited their chances in the second half.

We struggled on offense, but we did a good job hitting our free-throws. It's really nice to see it; this was a big game for us.

We started slow, like we usually do, but we rushed things, and tried to force them when we needed to be more patient. The girls played hard, it just didn't happen.

We shot the ball really well. We really cranked it up defensively in the second and third quarters, too.

We've talked about it in the locker room. It would be nice, but the girls know the race is to 10 (wins) and then we start working our way up (in conference seeding) with every win after that.

We know from the Redmond game that we can't overlook any team. It's nice to play Bend after Pendleton does, but we need to take care of business on our home floor (against Crook County).

It's not Comic Con any more. It's this huge marketplace for the motion picture and television industry. And the toy manufacturer's and the game people. One of the problems with International Comic Con is that tickets go on sale for the next year's event and the place is full of thousands and thousands of kids who have scraped together every dime to get admittance because they want to get all the freebies.
