best control few last team territory
Our team is at our best when we control territory and that's what we didn't do in the last few minutes.
duration expectation game hockey last minute overtime tonight win
When you get a 5-on-3 in the last minute of the game and a 4-on-3 for that duration in the overtime (3:11), your expectation is to win the hockey game. We didn't do that tonight and that's disappointing.
anyone ask control eight game hockey last maintain minutes penalties spent tough trying
If anyone is going to ask me about the officiating, I have no comment. We spent eight of the last 20 minutes trying to kill penalties. It's tough trying to maintain control of the hockey game when you have to kill penalties like that.
capable certainly close consistent exciting guys help last line mike people player players production realize rewarded successful team training valuable
Mike showed that he was a capable scorer last year. He's probably been our most consistent player from day one of training camp. He's one of those guys who is undervalued by people away from our team, but who the players and the people who are close to our team realize how valuable he is. He does all the little things out there that help a line be successful and help a team be successful. He's certainly getting rewarded for it from a production standpoint, which is exciting for him.
certainly chance credit earn experience given guy last line offensive opportunity produce relate shown side spot team trying year
I can relate to him just through the experience that he's been through in the past. He's a guy who has been in and out of the lineup or has been on the back end of the lineup and was trying to earn a spot on the team or find his niche. Certainly last year he was given an opportunity to play on an offensive line and have the chance to produce on the offensive side of the equation, and to his credit he's shown that he's capable.
ask both games given last opportunity points
We've got points out of the last two games. I think (Thomas) has given us the opportunity to do that both games and that's all you can ask out of your goaltender.
advantage career certainly compliment few guy hockey ingredient last leagues older opportunity persevere persistent played strive success taken
He's an older guy who's played a lot of hockey in a lot of different leagues and for him to persevere and to be persistent with his career and strive to get to the NHL I think is a compliment to his character. He's certainly taken advantage of an opportunity and he has been a key ingredient in us having some success in the last few weeks.
anxious ready stake stretch
I was anxious to get back out here and get ready for the stretch run. We know what's at stake and we'll be ready to go after it.
amount certain controlled goals score
I thought we controlled the play for a certain amount of time. We just weren't able to score any goals.
focus game hockey hoped needed played
I thought we played hard, competed and our focus was where it needed to be and that was the hockey game we hoped for.
extremely focus hockey needed played
I thought the focus was where it needed to be and that was on the hockey game. They responded and played extremely hard. Fortunately for us, we got the result.
compete condition ecstatic guy happy hard himself testament type worked
I think it's terrific. I'm so happy for him that he's worked so hard to get himself back into a condition to play and compete at this level. That, in and of itself, is a testament to the type of guy that he is. So we're ecstatic that's he's participating.
earlier fourth joseph swimming team third time year
I think St. Joseph is a much better team that they were in December. Their third and fourth swimmers are swimming much better this time of year than they were earlier in the year.
beats brings bush democrat george jim sure vote
I think Dina's very, very good, but I'm just not sure how she beats Jim Gibbons, ... I'm not going to say she can't, but I don't see how she brings the kind of Democrat who will vote for George Bush to the table.
