Changing your role, once you get to college, is a big part of maturing and becoming a better player. At first, it was kind of hard doing it. But I realized for us to win, I had to play my role. I had to change everything mentally.

There's 10 percent of our population that basically has no opportunity to participate in high school athletics unless they're a manager, which really isn't the same experience. It's not nearly as inclusive as I'd like to see it.
