Naomi Mary Margaret Mitchison, Baroness Mitchison, CBEwas a Scottish novelist and poet. Often referred to as the doyenne of Scottish literature, she wrote over 90 books covering a wide range of genre including historical, science fiction, travelogue and autobiography.
