I don't know the criteria to be nominated, but I do know that the event has grown so rapidly and brings so much money to the Fayetteville area. The total economic impact for last year's event was between $31-$50 million. It's the largest single event in the state. We've got a lot to be proud of.

We had two members who wanted to retire to director emeritus status. After six years, I think they were ready to pass the torch on.
