awful best bring chance excited few games good guys last playing playoffs team trying win
Over the last few games we've been playing an awful lot of young players. For them, it's a chance to play and get better. In this situation, we're playing a good team that's going to the playoffs and trying to win their division. Hopefully, that should get our guys excited and bring out the best in them.
along defense detail further last playing point
Continuity, repetition, the detail of playing the defense, we're much further along than we were at any point last year.
football good playing schedule second team tear toll took type wear
The wear and tear of playing that type of schedule took its toll on this football team, and we were not a good football team in the second half.
game good playing point
The disappointing thing for me is to be in a game where you look up and you say, 'Hey, we're playing pretty good with these guys, we know it's a good team, we know they've got things they can do,' and bang, we give up a 95-yard run. In each game you can point to a play or two like that and you look and say, 'God, how'd that happen?
brought either environment facing football good knocked penalties playing pressure team three yards
Some we brought on ourselves. Three times we had enough yards for a first down, and we had penalties that knocked us back, so that we were facing either first-and-20 or second-and-20. The environment we were in - a real good football team, and a team that can pressure the quarterback - we were playing into their hands.
randy
Randy made some big plays. He competed awfully well.
affecting good grown handle kids washington
As with any professional job, there is good and bad. I think at times, particularly in Washington when my kids were young, that you see it affecting them. But they have grown up with it and I think they handle it pretty well.
handled situations
In the Philadelphia game, we had 10 third-and-8-plus (downs), ... But we've also been in situations that are in your favor. Some of them we've handled real well, some of them we've struggled.
learned looking quick sure
The No. 1 thing I've learned in this league, and what everyone's looking for, is the quick fix. I'm not sure there's such a thing.
answering cannot focus goes job questions spend standpoint talking time types
From a standpoint of doing this job, you focus on the football. You keep working with the coaches, with your players, to see how you can get yourself better. How you cannot have to spend a lot of time talking about it. But part of the job is answering the types of questions you have to answer. That goes with the territory.
short sore tender
It's very, very tender and sore right now. We'll see where he's at the end of the week. It's a short week. I think we'll know Thursday. He's just not much better than he was.
late number terms year
And, number two, he's a year late in terms of, we've got a lot better team.

assistant coach dynamic half involved time work
There's no dynamic involved - I work for Mike. I've been an assistant coach for over half the time that I've been in this league. I know my role.
