I never close my practices and I shut it down on Friday. I was really excited about the way that they came out and responded. Alan Daniels was the difference tonight. He made some shots that we contested, but he made the shots. I told the guys in the locker room that I do not know what is going to happen from here on out, but we have to treat our next game as a tournament good.

Lance has really played well lately and continues to step up big. We are still a young team, but I feel like we will be able to surprise some people. Now we have to get ready to make the long trip to San Antonio and will have to be mentally tough to win on the road.

We are excited to get Gary on the floor. He did the necessary work to take care of his academics and we are proud of him for that. It will take a couple games for him to get used to game speed, but he will give us added depth inside and that will certainly help us.

We really got their attention tonight at halftime. We knew going into the game that they (UTA) was a good rebounding team. Early in the game, we were not getting out and contesting shots and they responded by shooting 62 percent.
