conference control good half midway played slowly tempo win
We started slowly but played better midway through the first half and were able to control the tempo of the game. It's always good to get that first win in conference play.
coach exciting front learn pleasure seniors
It's been a pleasure to coach these seniors and learn from them. It was exciting to see them go out in front of 10,000 people.
jamie job playing scared
I thought she was playing scared and tentative. Jamie wasn't getting the job done.
closest jamie ongoing season type
It's been an ongoing thing with Jamie all year, the way the season started for her. She was the closest thing we had to any type of a go-to player.
almost barely found four games last lost three won
I think in the last three or four games they have barely lost or they've been in games they should have won in the end. If this game would have slipped away, this is just another one that they almost (won) and they found a way to win.

bench
Our bench made the difference, especially in the end.
bench consistent floor jamie offensive player sitting threat
It's huge. We can't have Jamie sitting on the bench for very long. She is a consistent offensive player and threat on the floor and, obviously, one of our go-to players.
consistency kindness lack ongoing point rather
At this point of the season, you would rather not have to make these kind of moves. But as a coach, you find yourself making adjustments all year. Our lack of consistency has been an ongoing thing all year.
ahead best days game gets guard playing plays post speed
She plays at post for them but she has the speed of a guard and she's playing with a lot of confidence. I think Danielle gets better and better every game and I think her best days are ahead of her.
fault full hope personal responsibility taking
I'm taking personal responsibility for what's going on but not full responsibility. It's never one person's fault 100 percent. You never hope it comes down to this. We do have to find out how we can do things better.
events everybody happened looking pinpoint step taking
Everybody is taking a step back and looking at the events that happened during the year. I don't think you can pinpoint it on one thing. It was many different things that kind of happened at once.
