It's interesting to note that Broadway at the Beach's attendance and sales figures increased during 2005 despite the year-round existence of Coastal Grand. Coastal Grand itself also exceeded projections for 2005. The original theory was that there are both different and shared audiences for an enclosed mall environment and for an open festival retail environment along the Grand Strand, and that has held true.
