It?s been the same story maybe the last four times we played them. We play them really tough for three quarters and then they wear us down. We make a mistake and they capitalize.

He?s a guy that does everything no one sees but the coaches. He?s the guy that always boxes out, always gets on the floor - all of the intangibles. You might see he has three or four points a game but he makes so many contributions to our team in so many different ways.

It makes a big difference. I think some of those defeats we might have been able to pull out with a little more experience.

It will be John's second season at No. 1. No. 1's a tough spot.

(Brown) got off to a slow start, but he has come a long way; his work ethic at practice ? he likes it up here. He's gotten a better understanding of our game week by week. He plays strong defense and he's really had some clutch performances. When we need a basket, he's usually the guy who gets it done.

It was a good team effort, everybody contributed in different ways in the game; they made a couple of big runs at us and the guys stepped up.

We really hadn't had a game like this (a blowout). It was nice being able to play some different guys, seeing different guys.
