alex bashful good guys shooting teams
Alex is just a good shooter. If teams are going to give us those opportunities, our guys are going to take them. We're not bashful about shooting those shots.
apart blink collectors fade fall older print rapidly
Paperbacks blink in and out of print like fireflies. They also, as older collectors have ruefully discovered, fade and fall apart even more rapidly than their owners.
brad eight guys happy personal players points sacrificed statistics team
We've had eight new players on this team this year. I've been real happy with our leadership, especially from Brad Peterson (nine points on Saturday). He's sacrificed a lot of his personal statistics to make us a better team. A lot of our guys have done that.
dependent depth five guard guy guys hard people points scoring unselfish
We've had a lot of people contribute. We're not dependent on one guy scoring 30 points for us. In some ways, it is hard to guard us because we're going to make all five of your guys play defense. We do have a lot of depth and we are a very unselfish team.
active became couple gets guard job nice obvious playing running scout shoots solid sure teams wood

brad close coming league learning next ready sure
We're still learning how to play without Brad (Peterson). He's close to coming back, but we wanted to make sure he was ready for league play next week.
understatement
Muffled lives explode in understatements.

The image of the reporter as a nicotine-stained Quixote, slugging back Scotch while skewering city hall with an expose ripped out of a typewriter on the crack of deadline, persists despite munificent evidence to the contrary.
