difficult fellow four happy shot sit stops
J-F (Racine) was the fellow I'm most happy with. It's very difficult to sit there with one shot through 12 minutes...And then four breakaways at the end, he stops them all.
minutes played puck
We played the first 60 minutes the way we wanted to. We just couldn't put the puck in the net.
celebrate equal great knows
I think he should celebrate how he got here, because it's a great story, ... At the very least, now he knows he's done what he set out to do and he's getting equal consideration. He's in the group.
added consider gm jim player trade
Jim Rutherford was the GM at the time. I was an asset. They could have added a player to make them better. Instead, they said we can trade you if you want but would you consider coaching?
marc respect stand teammates
Marc will always stand up for his teammates like that. That's why they respect him so much.
control rebound
His rebound control was outstanding and that's when he's on his game.
guys injuries met month please six tonight
He got his first goal, that's great, and we need to get contributions from all over right now. I'm very please especially with all the injuries we've had. We had six guys in the lineup tonight that I'd never met a month ago.
camp cut guy prospects
When he was at the prospects camp in July, I didn't know he was the guy from Making The Cut ,
ended fault
I can't find any fault in our game, I'm just disappointed in the way it ended up.
approach bit camp chance failed feeling good guys hard laid last manner nice realize resting short skate summer team work year
We want to get back that good feeling that we had two years ago. It was a long summer to realize that we failed so miserably. It's nice to get back to work and give yourself and chance at redemption. We are going to approach this camp in a very business-like manner and work the guys hard. We won't be resting a lot of guys. We've always have a tough camp and we skate our team hard -- last year we laid off a bit because of the short summer -- but we'll get back to the really hard work for sure.
amount asset believe both bring dallas experience hockey joe league success tremendous
Both Joe and Dallas bring a tremendous amount of experience at the American Hockey League level. We believe their experience will be a tremendous asset to the success of our players.
negative power score
The only negative was that we didn't score on the power play.
(Racine) was good, and that's real important for us.
best dire felt situations
I've always felt that we were at our best in the most dire situations this year.
