ball base game good guys hitting left pitches zone
It wasn't an error-riddled game on our part. Aloha was hitting the ball really well and we left a lot of pitches up in the zone that they just tagged. Aloha is a good hitting club. We had guys on base all day, we just couldn't come through when it mattered.
base bases came fourth guys loaded
We had guys on base all day. We had the bases loaded and no outs in the fourth and only came out with one run. That hurt.
capitalize played
We played very well, but we didn't capitalize on some big opportunities we had.
ball cost erratic exception hit mistakes played scoring
With the exception of some erratic pitching, we played pretty solid. Overall, we hit the ball better and we're scoring some runs, just not enough. We're making some mistakes that cost us at inopportune times.
few guys hit last runners several three walks
We had one hit through the first three innings, but we had several guys on with walks -- we had runners on every inning. We hit better that last few innings.
base good guys
We did some good things. We had guys on base every inning.
bad base bases bottom double goes good guys hits hitter loaded mental mistake next pitch pitches
We did some good things. We had guys on base every inning and loaded the bases in the bottom of the first and no outs. (But) our hitter goes after a bad pitch and hits into a double play. Then the next guy grounds out. To me, that's a mental mistake because you don't go after pitches like that, especially with no strikes.
