I think the goal is to make sure that athletes, when they get out in the field, they're in good physical shape and in regular touch with their doctors. Kids grow so fast at that age in two years that it's good to have up-to-date information on those athletes.

They are working with a blank map. The good news is they're making really good progress and working very well together. They've looked at a lot of different information and they really, I think, want to minimize the impact of these boundary changes as much as possible.

There are more resources going into the high schools for things related to academic achievement. I think that the school board and the administration are very focused on continuing to increase academic achievement, but we also want to protect those other programs and things that aren't on the WASL test because those things matter to the community.
