definitely games winning
I think there's definitely some correlation to us winning those games.
excellent game kids plan
I think we had an excellent game plan and our kids executed it well. I thought we were very unpredictable.
advantage ball difference field good hard played position turning
I think we played hard and we had the opportunities, but we didn't take advantage of them. When we had the ball with good field position after turning them over, we weren't able to come away with any points. That was really the difference in the game.
advantage hard played
I think we played hard and had the opportunities, but we didn't take advantage of them.
athletic class filled four guys help strong
I think this class filled some needs. We got some tall, athletic receivers and four big, strong corners. Hopefully, some of those guys can help us right away.
confidence gives hoping
I'm hoping this gives us the confidence we need to get better.
began defense field game wear
Our defense was on the field too long, and they began to wear down as the game went on.
defense field
Our defense was on the field too long.
along area receiving talent
The area I think has to come along the most is the receiving corps. (Aside from Weatherly, a senior) everyone else is a young guy. But there's some talent there.
anxious hurt mental missing physical practice spring
We'll just have to see how much missing spring practice has hurt him. I think we've got to be careful. I'm anxious to see where he's at from a mental and physical standpoint.
added both coming immediate maturity physically run tremendous year
With an added year of maturity, both physically and mentally, I would think Melvin would make an immediate impact. He can really run for a big guy, has tremendous acceleration coming off the edge.
black came football hanging saw warming win
When they came in from warming up and they saw the black jerseys hanging in their lockers, they went nuts. But it's not the jerseys that win football games.
couple either playing plays win
We were a couple of plays from winning. I'm not into playing close. Either you win or you don't. We didn't and we could have.
ball expect expectation good great happy keeps matter player red stop throws today turning
I expect him to be a great player and nothing less. When he doesn't live up to that expectation, I'm not a happy person. I'm not happy when he throws interceptions like he did today in the red zone. That has to stop if we're going to win. It doesn't matter how good he plays, if he keeps turning the ball over we're not going to win.
