It was a tough game for both teams, because we were both coming back from spring break. I'm very proud of the way we played. We hit the ball well, ran the bases well and executed some nice squeeze plays. We also hit for some power.

We're very proud of these two young ladies, not what they do just on the field, but also they're great people off the field. Coach Phillips is getting two quality people to play softball for him. We want to thank him for most definitely picking up two of the best pitchers in the state of Arkansas.

We had a great practice yesterday. Very intense two hours yesterday, a lot of situational softball. It ended with batting practice and you can just tell that they're figuring some things out.

This time of the year we look at it one game at a time. We have the advantage of playing at home and we enjoy playing at our field. But Prairie Grove is a good team and it is very explosive.
