football guys happens quite tight
That's what happens when you get Jacob Tamme at tight end. All of a sudden, those other guys don't get quite as many snaps.
extremely guys hitting physical pleased running
I was extremely pleased with the way our guys are running around, how physical we are and how we're hitting people.
guys hope injuries past
It's the most unbelievable thing I've ever been around. I hope we've put the injuries past us. We'll have to see if some of these other guys can play.
guys help influence recruit top
I've had other guys try to influence recruits, but never as demonstratively as Micah. He didn't want to be the only top recruit ... he wanted to get us some help down here.
backs ball beating chasing easy faster game guys hand history love running stronger time
Running backs take a beating because the guys chasing them are bigger, stronger and faster than at any time in the history of the game. I'd love to have a guy you can hand the ball 25 times a game and he'd always get 100 yards, but that's not an easy thing these days.
good guys work
Hopefully, we'll get in some good fundamental work and get some guys healthy. We've got some guys that need to freshen up.
aaron absence bring competition gained great intense left position spring strength tackle weighs weight
It's great to have Aaron back in school. During his absence he's gained strength and weight (now weighs 298 pounds). He will bring intense competition to the left tackle position during spring practice.
knife somebody stuck
It was just like somebody stuck a knife in our stomach. It's a shame.
sliding standing year
There's no way we could have (practiced) on that a year ago, ... We'd have been sliding and standing in water.
football good
He's a good football player. He'll probably play a little more.
consistent continuity football given good implement last losing nice oregon plan reaffirm since six time turned worked
The last six years I was (at Oregon), we were a very good football team, and since then they have only had one losing season, ... The continuity there is what turned Oregon into a consistent winner. It was nice to see that and reaffirm that we actually did know what we were doing. We did have a plan that worked and were given the time to implement that.
bit decided fair football liked missed playing quite
He just decided he wanted to give football a fair shot. He missed it quite a bit and I think he liked the idea of playing with his brother.
instant replay
I don't know why we have instant replay if we won't at least look at it,
bothered game instant pivotal point review stop time understand work wrinkles
If we don't stop the game and look at it at that point in time on a pivotal play I don't understand it. And I know we have some wrinkles to work out with instant replay, but I'm just bothered that we didn't stop and review it.
