I told our guys before the game that the key would be what we got from our bench. I watched our last game (KSU) where we bogged down on the offensive end. Obviously, A.J. came up big. They did a great job of double-teaming the post.

Our guys showed a tremendous will to win. We had some tough times, but we kept believing, and our guys never doubted they were a good basketball team.

I am obviously a better-looking guy than he is. If we play basketball he wasn't very good; but the reason he does all the loose-ball drills is because that's how he had to get on the court as a player. But if it got down to he and I playing, it won't be a rivalry. To have a rivalry you have got to split some games, and he would never win a game from me.

P.J. is special, he really is. He's just one of those guys who lets things go and moves along to the next play. He's not going to beat himself up very long. This time of year, you would expect him to do what he's done.

A.J. has the 'it' factor. He's a confident player. When he's being aggressive, knocking down shots, our guys feed off him. We've come to really count on him.

I thought our guys did a good job of staying aggressive the last couple of minutes. We probably didn't make as many good decisions as we needed to be making in that situation but, overall, when they made their run and got back in it, we stayed with it. We pushed it back out there and made some free throws at the end. I'm happy with the fact that we had only seven turnovers and the job we did on the boards.
