We're far from a well-oiled machine on the power play, but we're starting to recognize plays and make quick decisions to create better shots on net through traffic. With the chances we had early against Spokane on the power play and the results we had late, we can gain some confidence.

In the back of my mind I was a little concerned about a letdown because you can breathe a sigh of relief. I'm not sure if that's what happened, but we had a very good start and then didn't play well in the middle of that game.

We think we're a pretty good skating team, and part of that is forcing turnovers and constantly moving your legs. That's what makes us successful. We've been using our speed to force turnovers and play a higher pressure game.

We were a little too sloppy in our own end, but there were obviously some calls that didn't go our way. We made a lot of mistakes and there were questionable calls on goals or lack of goals.
