They are both good passers and drivers, so they just feed off each other. Then the other girls feed off the action that they get from that.

I think we got back on track. We played a smart game and we hustled. We stood our ground on defense and made them shoot over us, which is much better than what we were doing, which was over-pursuing, committing silly fouls and giving up easy baskets.

Those two played like they're capable of playing. They gave us a big lift.

Whitney can be nails from along the baseline. That shot looked good as soon as it left her hands.

When you look at her longevity and what she gave to the program, I think that is really rare. She is the rare exception in the coaching world and I was very fortunate to be a part of that as a player and a colleague.

We're not happy with a share of the title. We wanted to win the title outright. We'll take this as a lesson and still try to win a (Division II) championship.
