I'm glad (Meyer) accepted here at Winona State. I think it's one of the premier programs in the country for Division II, but I'm excited for personal reasons, too. It'll be a joy to have the opportunity to see him play.

The last time we played, all five of their starters scored in double figures. That was the only time they did that all year.

Our goal is to get better every practice and game. We're in a good spot right now but we want to continue to improve.

Our defense was really solid tonight. We were moving our feet and getting to the glass. Our defense created this win.

There was just a much different aura in the locker room before tonight's game. With so many seniors on this team, I just knew someone was going to step up.

I could see we started off intense, but tight. We were patient offensively, but not aggressive.

He is just a great competitor. We always play better when he is on the floor.

As a point guard, that's who you want to have the ball late in the game. He worked hard on his free throws over the summer.

We came out real sluggish on defense. We really refocused (at halftime) and came out and played some good team defense.

We just need to make adjustments (to the zone). We've talked about how we want to approach this game. We just need to do the thing we do well. We can't modify our game drastically.

We shot well tonight. We just had a couple of key turnovers in the last couple of minutes that really hurt us.

We are in a good spot right now. We are playing like a team, but we hope to play better each time we take the floor.
