almost attitudes changed switching
Switching the lineup changed the attitudes around. It's almost like it injected a little energy.
extra hope match players test toughest
It will be our toughest test to date. I hope the players feel the match is a little extra special.
beaten match ready
They haven't beaten us in a while, but they'll still come at us like it's their big match of the year, and we've got to be ready for that.
added experience scary team ton
She has added a ton of experience and firepower to the lineup. We're a scary team with her and Alexis at the top.
attitude change eyes hoping needed open
I was hoping it would open their eyes a little bit. We needed a change in attitude on doubles.
fight gets happy knew lays paid passion players playing ready regardless stops talking tennessee
Every year, Tennessee always gets the most out of their players and they did tonight. We knew we had to be ready to fight because Tennessee never lays down and stops playing regardless of the score. I'm happy where we are because we're getting better every day. We've been talking about playing with more passion and more fight and that paid off for us in tonight's match.
depth singles three
Depth has always been our strength. And now we're pretty set at the one, two and three singles positions.
team
I don't think we're the sixth-ranked team in the country. I think when we play well, we're better than that.
drill exciting fun laying line practice turn until
Practice is fun, but it's more exciting to play. You can drill and practice until you turn blue, but it's not going to be the same as laying it on the line when there's something there that matters.
anybody concerned hard
I don't think anybody is real concerned as to where they play, but more how they play and how hard they play.
attitude confident couple doubles edge good looked maybe players practice reason saw short team today weeks whatever
I think they're getting better and getting confidence. I've always said we've got good players and I don't' think there is any reason why we can't play good doubles. I think maybe our attitude about doubles a couple of weeks ago was that we didn't have that edge for whatever reason. In practice we looked good and got better in a short span. Today you saw how a confident doubles team plays.
beaten challenge formidable players question top
They're young, but they're very good. They have some players at the top of their lineup that have beaten us in the past, so it's going to be a formidable challenge for us, no question about it.
beauty
That's the beauty of being the No. 1 seed.
coming good seen
This is about as good as I've seen us this season. And it's coming at the right time.
