bit both closer continue dominate driver eight far fight formula great hard leading leave normally races season seen team won
That championship is far from over and we will continue to fight hard for it. To leave here leading the constructors' championship and being a little bit closer on the drivers' would have been great for us and also great for Formula One, but unfortunately that did not happen. We have now won eight races out of 11 and that is normally a season which has seen both team and driver dominate both championships. But I don't feel frustration with the past.
far teams
We think there has been some showmanship from some of the teams but, at the end of the day, if we are not there we won't be too far away.
both dominate driver eight good next normally ourselves quite races remaining target team win won
We've won eight races out of 11 this season. That is normally enough for both a driver and team to dominate the standings. Our target now is to win the remaining races and if we can do that, we will feel quite good about ourselves as we look to next season.
both brazil claimed controlled course difficult distract drivers eight faultless forward frame given imagine innocent juan last looking manner maximum mistakes performance positive race team today true victim win winning
Both drivers put in a faultless performance today which should have given the team maximum points. Kimi claimed his win in a disciplined and controlled manner in very difficult conditions. Juan Pablo was the innocent victim of other people's mistakes but this should not distract from his race which was executed with true team spirit. We of course take some satisfaction from winning eight of the last 11 Grands Prix. As you can imagine we are looking forward to Brazil in a positive frame of mind.
anticipate both including juan michael relationships team term
We anticipate long term relationships with both Kimi and Juan Pablo and consequently, the team is not in negotiations with any other driver, including Michael Schumacher.
business team simple
In difficult circumstances, teams either separate or come closer together, it's as simple as that
decision doubly great race williams
I think it was not a great decision by Williams so we are doubly frustrated. We had a comfortable, well-judged, disciplined, team-oriented race which should have been a comfortable one-two.
achieved expected finished friday hamper practice problem programme ran run speed successful terms
Pedro's problem finished his run prematurely, but this will not hamper our programme for the weekend, ... Other than that, it was a successful Friday practice where we ran through our programme and achieved the results, in terms of speed and consistency, that we had expected going into this weekend.
corner drove front next pulled seen straight
Pizzonia exited the pits ... having seen that Pizzonia waved him past, he overtook carefully, pulled in front and at the next corner Pizzonia just drove straight in the back of him.
juan massively
Juan Pablo was just cruising and it's massively frustrating.
cool exciting future great juan work
Juan is great to work with, very cool and philosophical and he is part of an exciting future for McLaren,
bit few lost opening ourselves pulled recover risks strangely together
We did not recover from that. That is where we lost the championship. We should have pulled ourselves together a bit more and we should have taken, strangely enough, a few more risks in those opening races.
achieving attracting best objective
We want to be the best and the only way of achieving this objective is by attracting the best people.
problem
His problem was not the engine, his problem was the tyre selection.
