This group right here deserves this win. They worked so hard all year. Everybody's called them young all year, including me. They're not a young team anymore and they showed it today.

Jake has been working hard and that's just a lot of hard work that paid off for him. Jake is very mature for his age, but he has a lot of fun out there.

I'm very pleased with our kids thus far. We're a young group with, from what I've seen, a lot of potential.

We played good and got one. I felt our guys responded better to the tough plays, and didn't get down on themselves. That made a difference in the long run.

We're playing better now than we have all season. Hopefully, we can get a good pitching performance, continue to play good defense and scratch out some runs.
