assertive came good mistakes playoff start
Mistakes. I thought we were really assertive at the start of the game. We came out strong. We did everything but score. Kipper made some good saves. Then we started making mistakes. This is playoff hockey. You can't have that right now.
capitalize opportunity
We had ample opportunity to capitalize and we never did,
definitely ice less opens
It definitely opens up the ice a bit. It's definitely less congested out there.
deep puck turned
I take the onus on that one. I didn't get the puck in deep enough, turned it over and then it was in our net.
That was so important to get off on the right foot.
build guys knew record
We knew these guys were experienced. And with the record they've got, it is something we want to build on.
fear
We didn't fear them. We can play with them.
easier easy hope instinct killer last nine talk

deeper dug dwell games hole ourselves sit
We can't sit and dwell on it. We've got two games left. We dug ourselves a deeper hole and we have to find a way out of it.
needed points
We needed this one badly. Right now two points are better than one.
high players step
We have a lot of young players that can step up. The expectations are high on them.
corner front grabbed hit midway

front knocked looked strides three took
He gloved it, put it down in front of him and knocked it in. It looked like he took two or three strides with it.
worked
I got lucky, I guess. It worked out.
