It's always fun to watch Natalie play on defense because you never know when she will make that great play or make a throw that no one expected. Offensively we've seen a lot of growth in her this last year, expanding her game to include the short game, using her speed to be able to slap as well as drag bunt to get herself on base.
doubt taxing watch
It's been very taxing without a doubt. Hopefully, I don't have to watch any longer. Hopefully, I can play this weekend. I'm working every day to get better.

It's been taxing on me, having to watch, ... Hopefully, I won't have to watch any longer. It's tough because when you're on the outside looking in, you think every bad play, you could have made. That's not realistic. It hurts when your team is losing. The only thing I can do is to try to have the mind-set that whenever I get back, I'm going to try to be a difference-maker.
hitting last three watched
The last three weeks, we watched film and they're hitting on all cylinders.

I was cheering our guys on and watching those guys celebrate in the other dugout. It would have been tough for us to hold in our emotions if we were in the same situation.

It was good to see him and to see him win it. If I couldn't win it, I'm glad he did.

He was antsy before we went out and couldn't hardly sit still. But for the first time out, he had some good stuff. It was a good start, but he knows there's some room for improvement.

I keep being reminded about how tough the remainder of our schedule is. But we just need to worry about us, not about who we're going to play.

I would see her and her daughters on the front porch and in the back yard. I was shocked. I was just talking to her. We had gone to the Hometown Flea Market and when we got back everyone was saying your neighbor's dead. It was like being hit by a hammer.

This is a joke. Kids have been playing (here) ... families have been walking all over. People have been laying out on the sand there. It's crazy. But I'll be glad when it's finally all cleaned up.
