felt fortunate hit needed point press score
This is a big win. We felt fortunate to be down only one point at halftime. We just needed to do things that are T-Birds basketball. That is score off the press and hit three-pointers.
half offense played rusty second seemed sports
It's a 32-minute game. We were a little rusty at the start, but some of that may have been because we haven't played in 11 nights. We seemed much more comfortable in the second half on offense and defense.
amherst came favor gave guys kids loss played took
I think these guys took the Amherst loss a little personally, and I think that played in our favor tonight. These kids want to win, and they came out and gave it everything.
allowed changed force helped key pressure situations tempo
Our full-court pressure allowed us to force some uncomfortable situations for Shiocton. That changed the tempo and helped us get some key buckets, and that was the difference.
austen breaking extra job pass second
We did a much better job of breaking things down and making the extra pass in the second half. Austen was a difference-make for us.
either half jeopardize maintain picking quick second start third
We didn't want to jeopardize either of them (Lane or Gunderson) picking up their third foul. We were just able to maintain in the first half and then we got off to a quick start in the second half.
bunch loving senior
We're loving it. You look at our roster and it's one senior and a bunch of sophomores.
finish gas gone honest lead running style towards
With their style of play a big lead can be gone pretty quick, and to be honest I think we were running out of gas towards the end. Fortunately, we had enough to finish things off.
