easy guy handle impressive includes kid mature quite resentment small talented teammates
It's quite impressive that a 17-year-old kid can be that grounded. It would be pretty easy for him to get pretty big for his britches. A lot of 17-year-olds aren't mature enough to handle all of this. There's no resentment at all with his teammates because he handles it all so well and includes them. You get a guy this talented in this small of a pond, and he can overpower the whole pond, but Jake doesn't do that.
holder playing
I'm a Husky (football) season-ticket holder myself, and I still think he should be playing baseball.
control last walks
He had better control last year. All of his walks come in bunches.
expected
He was what we expected him to look like.
baseball continues develop june tough
But if he continues to develop as a baseball player, come June 7 (the day of the baseball draft), there's still a chance. He'll have a tough decision.
exactly good huge needed playing until week win
We needed something good to happen. This week was huge for us. We hadn't been playing very well up until this week. This win is exactly what we needed.
human needed pitch win
We just didn't make the play or the pitch we needed to win the game. You're not a human being if that doesn't sting.
