I think that, come January, we will be one of the offenses that everybody is going to fear. Everybody forgets that Jacksonville and Atlanta have a very good defense. I think we've done well against them.
Our defense did good enough for us to win, and we didn't help them out at all. Jacksonville did what they wanted to do against us, which is throw us around. They totally controlled the whole game.
Where you're playing against someone when you have to be on point it's not wise to do like I did. It went from bad to worse. I was getting hits from folks I normally don't take hits from, and I fumbled the ball.
I think it's fitting for us to play against one of the teams that actually beat us. It puts more doubt in everybody's mind again.
It would always be great to have a big game in the postseason, but I don't care as long as our team wins. If I had to have nine yards again for another victory, so be it. I'll take those nine yards and I'll see you all in Detroit.
I think we showed a lot of people about this team.
Kobe scored 81 points. I was asking the guys the other day, 'How do you score that many points in a game?' That's like scoring seven touchdowns.
I saw that team take the growing pains and get to the playoffs, then win the division. I want to be here to see us win three or four Super Bowls. That's my only goal. So for me, I'm like, 'OK. If you guys are handling that side of it, call me when it's really, really ready to get done.' But as of right now, I'm going to try to do everything I can to get this team to the Super Bowl.
We have a lot of things to be proud of. We took Seattle to a place it's never been before.
We've got so much to be thankful for. I just want to thank each and everyone of you all for making this the best stadium in the world!
Referees have a hard job. I'm not going to just go out there and bash them. But at the same time, whenever there's a tough situation, you always want your call. If we had got all the calls, then Pittsburgh would be flipped around. That's football. Referees try their best, and that's all you can say.
I tell everybody this team is finally getting to where we should be. We're mature. We handle business.
I think he is showing the world how good he is. It's kind of like watching your little brother grow into a superstar. It's an awesome feeling.
I stopped conversations with everybody, and everybody has been up front saying that they are going to talk about it after the season.
