Again, we put out a lot of video, and it was another situation where we had to find a school that had a need. And also the kid has got to like the school as well, and Larry did. They run a lot of one-back offense, and he has a shot to play right away. He will be going with a teammate (Jesse Fox), and he has a chance to do good in the classroom and on the football field. He's excited and it's a great fit.
bending defense giving kept perseverance
Our defense kept bending and bending and giving up things here and there, but they never really broke. I thought that showed a lot of perseverance in the way they played.
consistency practice season talked week
We talked about consistency this week in practice and that's what we got tonight. Our season is still about getting better week to week. That's our focus.

To be chosen to represent your state is an honor and so is getting to coach your guys one last time. I'm excited to work with a great coaching staff, and great players for a week. It's really my first all-star game and I'm excited.
continue district front game gets next puts sets teams tone week win
This win was big. That kind of puts us in the front so to speak. Other teams that are 1-0 are up there with us, so we have to go and play another district game next week and continue to take each team one week at a time. Your first win kind of sets the tone and gets you started off right.
