We have to get our focus back. After a letdown like this you're searching for a reason why. We tied with Bluefield during our first game. It's a great credit to his kids that they have got to this level.

He just said he had several personal problems that he needed to spend time on, and that he didn't think it would be fair to the county to take time away from work.

I think it's just refocusing. Some of it is that it's do-or-die time. They don't want to stop playing. Part of it is a new season. What we did before doesn't even make any difference. I'm hoping that they've learned some things.

We started playing well in the district tournament. Even though we lost, we played a strong game. Had some balls bounce the wrong way. I think the kids took something out of that.
