It was a phenomenal game. It was a packed gym and everyone was buzzing after the game. The girls stepped up big time.

It was a good way to get the week started. We've got five games in seven days this week, so getting off to a good start like this is big.

She's a veteran leader, one of our captains and she's just got a solid all-around game. It's nice having an extra player that can step up.

All our posts kind of realize that our first options are our guards. I would like it to be an inside-out game, but invariably we tend to be more outside-in. Mackenzie does a good job of hitting the boards and getting some points inside for us.

We were on the road four hours to get there, so it was really a satisfying win. The whole team played solid. They have great height - they go 6-3, 6-0, 6-0, but great height can be negated by speed, and we have good speed.

We had pretty good balance there, but it was a flat game.

You have to give Jake credit. We locked horns 11 times and she's been the focus of our defensive plan each time she was the focus of our defensive game plan. Today, we ran an inverted diamond-and-two and it worked pretty well. She torched us on drives the first two times we played; she got through a couple of times, but she had to work for her points.
