atmosphere exciting guys message might others players prepare sends treat win wrong
I know only one way to prepare and that's to prepare to win with the guys just like this was everything on the line. I think if you treat it any differently it sends the wrong message. ... It might be exciting to young players but it also can send the wrong message to others and I don't know what kind of atmosphere that creates. So, I think we're not going to prepare any differently.
clears dust mike
When the dust clears down the road, I know that Mike will have some other opportunities come his way.
available clock easy flow goes inside pressure protection single time
We had some inside pressure on Pep, ... and then at times when the protection got good, his time clock had already sped up. As a quarterback, it's not easy to use the time clock that's available on that single play. It goes with the flow of the game. I think that compounded the problems.

Naturally Adam has a lot to learn, but he did well for a person who had never played the position.
behind best five hopeless offensive players sitting
I've always been of a mind-set to play the five best offensive linemen. I think your players need to feel that from you as well. If you're sitting behind Leonard Davis, you can't feel like it's a hopeless situation.
judgment target
I know the target on my back is bigger. If we don't play well, Judgment Day will come.
call certainly few plays stay
I really just call plays with my gut, ... And you certainly want to stay away from tendencies. There were very few hiccups in this (victory).
built case somebody strong
If you take Peyton Manning out of the mix, I think somebody could have built a pretty strong case about him being an MVP.
bad family feed feeling figure sitting trying
I'd really be feeling bad if I was sitting here trying to figure out how I was going to feed my family on Feb.1.
deep kids pick prefer shallow somebody start throw tough
It's tough to throw somebody into the deep end and tell them to start swimming. I prefer to start out in the shallow end. Now, some kids pick it up pretty quick.
