They just seemed a little tight. They've made a lot of better plays than that in practice.
coming couple great needed practice shows tough week
That is huge. We had a great week of practice and we needed this game, coming off a couple of tough loses. This shows what we have.

That's what should've happened in the first couple innings too. We've made plays like that with out committing errors.

Actually, the whole game we looked better hitting. We were swinging the bats a lot better. We had some good hits, they just made some good plays on it.

They had the feeling of getting it done. Then when it was taken away, they felt bad about it but maybe that gives them a little more thirst for the future.

I won't be 100 percent all season. Right now, I'm about 80 percent, which is fine. I feel I can contribute to the team the way I am.

They weren't quite as excited. We were still putting the ball in play, but we couldn't seem to get anything going. We really didn't look all that bad, it just wasn't going right.

We just can't string hits together. That's been part of the problem all year. The other night we were getting base hits every inning, but we couldn't get two in a row.

We can't have errors. This is a team that is made up of good fielders. We'd either throw it away or field it bad. They were partial errors, we're not that far away from getting it.

We had a couple chances to score in the second game. But it wasn't like we blew it at the plate. We'd get a good hit and they would make a good play like a diving catch to get someone out.

We really do. We depend on him quite a bit. Especially at the plate.
