It was a very uncharacteristically poor performance. It was just a lot of little mistakes. Judging was tight and we just didn't perform well.

I don't feel like we are reaching our full potential yet as a team. That is going to be our goal for the next meet coming up. For everyone to do what they are capable of doing and hopefully improve on some of the errors we made.

Our goals are to continue to hit routines. We still haven't hit 24 for 24, like we are capable of. That remains a goal that we haven't achieved yet.

On vaulting, we need to improve our landings. We didn't stick any vaults. Everyone of them took a step.

On beam, we need to stay on the equipment. You can't count a fall on beam and expect to be a good team.

It came down to those last two athletes to do their job the best they could and both Stephanie and Meredith really came through in the clutch.
girls good meet prepares season
Championship season is on us, and it is very good to have a good meet before the championship. It prepares the girls mentally.

We need to focus on execution, no falls.

We saw Michigan earlier in the year, and we only lost by four-tenths, so we feel like we are right there with them. We just need to do the best gymnastics that we are capable of doing.

We stepped it up a notch in terms of attitude and commitment to sport. Hopefully that will show this weekend.

We're hoping that this weekend we will make stride in that regard. We're capable of scoring a 196 plus which is what we need to do.
