We've asked the congregation a lot of different things during this period, getting opinions, because we want the whole body to be working toward the same goals. And we believe that the church should get outside its walls and reach out into the community and meet needs of people that live around the church and in the same town, as well as other places beyond our boundaries.

We wanted to provide opportunities for our members to serve, and some people need sort of a push or a boost; they need a suggestion of what they can do and how they can use their spiritual gifts in some kind of service. So we opted to offer different ideas for that as well.
