road second seed team year
This is the second year we've had to do this, and this year we are the No. 1 seed yet we're having to play a team like Vanderbilt on the road in the second game.

They're about the only good team that's not (in our bracket). They definitely deserve to be a No. 1 seed, and maybe somewhere down the road we will get to play. But there's a lot of great teams. I just want us to keep playing the way we've been playing, and hopefully things work out where we'll be able to be in Boston.
forward great hands hear medicine percent road sports surgery surprised
She's in great hands with Dr. Taft and our sports medicine staff, so I wasn't surprised to hear that everything went well with the surgery this morning. Now she can get on the road to recovery. We look forward to having her back at 100 percent in the fall.
early expected felt final road shame somewhere
I felt like somewhere down the road we would play Tennessee. I expected it to be in the Final Four. It's a shame that we have to play so early in the bracket.
ivory rhythm seem
I didn't feel like we were in a rhythm after Ivory got hurt. She's our spark. We didn't seem to have any energy.

They gave us a different look than what we usually see, but I thought they did an excellent job.
conference next stronger
You may think I'm crazy, but I think the conference will be stronger next year.
slow throw
I want it to be exciting, up and down the floor. We can play bad, throw it all over the gym, but we're not going to slow it down.

I'm just proud of our team for being the regular-season ACC champs.
eventually felt good knew lots run sloppy tempo tough
A little sloppy at times, but we knew it was going to be a tough game. We're a team, with the tempo we play, lots of times we play in runs. We felt like we eventually could go on a run and get a pretty good lead.

Her leadership has also improved. For a sophomore, she has shown a lot of maturity.

I love my staff and my team, and we're going to have a good time and continue to play Carolina basketball. A lot of people are saying to me, 'You all look like you're having fun,' and we are. We try to smile and enjoy the experience that we're having.
