Terrence Edwin Roof, Jr.is an American football coach and former player. Currently, he is the defensive coordinator at the Georgia Institute of Technology. Roof served as the head coach at Duke University from 2003 to 2007, compiling a 6–45 record. That was a great day for us. I thought our kids played really well. We had a lot of belief that day and belief is a powerful tool.

They were under duress a large part of the time, so it's tough to evaluate. We didn't protect and they didn't have time. I thought Mike threw some good balls, and we had a couple of drops. We have to make those plays.

He's always had a good arm and he's decently mobile, but the intangibles are what make a quarterback. There is no substitute for experience and Mike is battle-tested in this league (ACC).

You know, when you look at the final scoreboard, you might not see that. If you watched the game and you felt the game, our guys made some strides. I am not happy and I am not satisfied with the loss, but we are going to go back to work and correct the mistakes, accentuate the positives and build off those.
