Ted Saskin
Ted Saskinis the former NHL Players Association executive director. He assumed the title after Bob Goodenow resigned on July 28, 2005, but was unanimously fired by the NHLPA on May 10, 2007, after a union-commissioned report concluded Saskin had quarterbacked a campaign to hack into player email accounts...
addressing certainly concerns dozens forward given gratifying hear heavier individual necessary phone players received support tie traffic
I look forward to addressing any concerns Tie or another individual may have with our direction. I don't think it's necessary or appropriate to have these discussions through the media. I can tell you that on any given day, I'm on the phone with dozens of players and today's traffic was heavier than usual. It was certainly gratifying to hear all the support that I have received from the membership.

associated available cancel comments deal decision further gets impact industry jeremy negative obviously owners passage preferred process respond route season suggesting worse
I don't think it will further the process to respond to comments like those from Jeremy Jacobs suggesting the available deal only gets worse with the passage of time. Obviously the owners' decision to cancel the season will have negative impact on everyone associated with our industry and unfortunately this has been the preferred route to take by owners like Jeremy Jacobs.

agreement basis bill clear concepts discussed form heard knows proposed surprised thursday
Bill knows that the concepts they discussed with us on Thursday would not form the basis for an agreement, so he should not be surprised that he hasn't heard from us. We were very clear on Thursday that we would not be negotiating over his proposed concepts.
based baseless charge chosen committee conducting confident contained copy democratic disrupted election executive fair filing information members merit midst player process received reports step time
While we have not yet received a copy of the charge, based on the information contained in (media) reports we are confident that the charge has no merit whatsoever. It is regrettable that the individuals responsible for filing the charge have chosen to take this step at a time when NHLPA player representatives and executive committee members are in the midst of conducting a democratic and fair election. This election process ... will not be disrupted by such baseless actions.
