He's a very cerebral pitcher and he knows what he does best. To his credit, he hasn't let anything go to his head. He's the same kid he was when the streak started.

Of course you want to win every series at home that you can, but as the weekend goes on you adjust your goals. After you lose the first one you wanna win the next three, after you lose the second one the goals change again and the goal was to split the series. That's a really good ball club right there and for us to have some success against them is a good sign of what we can be.
