It's tough to get in. A guy like David Akers is going to be here a real long time just because of how good he is and the longevity of a kicker's career. It makes it a lot more difficult for guys in my position.

As far as Ronnie hurting himself, we are aware of how it could affect him. It has affected guys differently over the years and you cannot predict the future. ... Bottom line, we have always wanted to get this deal done ASAP and Ronnie has been working out very hard everyday.

I can't even think that far ahead, because I can't control what happens, and there are a lot of things that can happen. If it works out that way, that would be terrific. If it doesn't, I'm grateful for the opportunity I've gotten here.
