We've seen some pretty good pitchers this year. And this is a young team. Many of them haven't seen pitchers like this.

I have no crystal ball to allow me to say we are going to win the (National League) West or World Series. A lot of things have to go right . . . but I can say we have players with the ability to win.

I wouldn't want to want to face him as a right-handed hitter. He comes at you at too many angles and at too many speeds.

It all kind of worked together. That's just the way hitting is. Everybody feeds off each other. One guy gets hot and everybody gets hot. We all started swinging better and we started winning games.

I'd rather make that walk when we won, ... It's kind of hard 2 minutes after the game's over and we lose. It takes a little while to take (a loss) off. It's kind of hard to walk around there with a smile on your face when you just lost, but you got to do it for the fans.
negative watch
I watch the film, so I know what I've done off a guy. I don't look at it as a positive, just like I don't look at it as a negative if I haven't done well off a guy.
bullpen compete found
The bullpen and J.J. (Jason Jennings) got that win. We just found a way to win. If we're going to compete this year, that's the way we're going to have to win.
attitude develop good start win
We need to get off to a good start and develop an attitude that we are going to win so we don't have that 'here-we-go-again' attitude.
